Unit powers up just fine. I don't have any further testing. The remote wouldn't respond but I don't know if that's becuase there's nothing inside the slot. The battery cover has some slight corrosion. I was told the cd drive works fine. Unit looks pretty decent overall. The left button on the remote feels a little mushy also. Philips CD-i 220/97C
