The multicolored painted one does work sometimes. I was using it for one day and played a lot of different games on it. Then it will red ring and then I reset it and had it working again. The all black one is tested and nothing worked so it will need repairs or parted out. I guarantee someone with more knowledge on them would get the one colored one working fully again and the other one is probably salvageable too. It looks clean inside the all black one.
